West Palm Beach: Where to Eat

As much as we loved lounging at the Eau, we wanted to explore the food scene in West Palm. We ended up hopping in our rental car and driving to Delrey Beach. The concierge said that we could find really great restaurants in Delrey. She recommended a Sushi place, but once we got there we ended up exploring other options as we were in the mood for Brunch.

We stopped by an open-spaced restaurant called Farmhouse Kitchen (FHK). There was a really friendly host eager for us to sit down for brunch. As New Yorkers, we usually avoid places where people are really eager for people to dine (lol). We glanced at the menu though…and we were hooked. The menu boasted a highly- rated chicken and waffles dish, gluten-free and vegan options, as well as bottomless mimosas. We happily sat outside at one of the tables facing the busy Atlantic Avenue. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air among the many Mexican-inspired restaurants that line Atlantic Avenue.

I chose the Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes, with eggs, and chicken sausage. My eyes were bigger than my stomach (foodie problems) as I was unable to finish the pancakes. Monty was content with the chicken and waffles and the bottomless mimosas. The atmosphere was laid-back, just how we like it, and the service was great. We would definitely recommend coming to this location.
